The son of a famous Capoeira Mestre, Marcus Aurelio is a two-time North American Capoeira champion and a 2nd place world competitor. With over 24 years of Capoeira experience, including 15 years as an instructor, Marcus has traveled to over 20 countries performing, competing and teaching. He is fluent in English, Portuguese and Spanish.
As an MMA professional Marcus currently holds a record of 6 – 2 including a 43 second flying switch kick knockout and a 20 second spinning kick (Meia Lua de Compasso) knockout which went viral with over 7 million hits on YouTube.
